Welcome to APMI, the San Antonio Chapter of the Project Management Institute! 

We are delighted to have you as a new chapter member.  Below you'll find some handy information and links to get you started and make sure you get the most from your membership.  The APMI chapter has integrated access to PMI membership data.  This means that we can typically process new members within two business days after joining.

The best way to get the most out of your membership is to join us at one of our events.  There is a wide variety of events offered every month.  Some are small group discussions, there are lunch and dinner meetings as well as educational workshops.  All events include time for networking with other professionals.  To learn more about events and how to register for them, click here.  Remember to always login first before registering for an event to ensure you get member pricing.

Get Involved - Volunteer!

Want to learn more about the chapter?  Practice your project management skills? Develop your leadership skills?  Perhaps you just want to get to know some of our dedicated and talented members who like you - want to help us grow the chapter and expand its services.  Whether you have only an hour to give or something more, we'd love to have you join us.  Visit the Volunteer page to learn more about current openings and upcoming projects.

  • Add / Maintain a Certification

Some people join a chapter to meet specific requirements or pre-requisites for a PMI project management certification.  Need some PDUs?  Many of our events qualify as PDU events.  Don't have a certification yet?  Check out the upcoming workshops on the calendar.  In addition to project management topics, the chapter also offers Exam Preparation courses throughout the year.

Check out the Job Board.  It's a members only area of the chapter website (must be logged in to view jobs).  You'll find postings from local companies looking to hire quality project practitioners in a variety of industries.

  • Keep your PMI Information Current or Renew your Membership

Since we share memerships information with PMI.org, please take a moment to update your profile.  Log in and go to My Account.  Keep your Profile up to date and keep us up to date. This will cut down on simple issues we could have in the future.  Also, you can always renew your Membership with PMI.org.

  • Your Volunteer spirit keeps us thriving

We couldn't do what we do, without you. Volunteering is essential to APMI. Sign up through PMI.org and let us know all about your past volunteer experiences.
