Course Description
This is the first of the Advance Topics in Project Management Series. Students will have hands-on case studies and exercises to create business cases that align projects to organizational strategies. 

Course Objective
Students will be able to better define why a project needs to be done by calculating benefit measurements, properly documenting business cases, creating a project statement of work, generating a Project Charter, and conducting an effective meetings supporting their project.

Target Student
Any business leader or project lead in an organization.

Delivery Method
Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Instructor: Ed Olszanowski, PMP,  Ed is a Retired USAF Veteran and brings over 29 years of project management experience to the classroom. He has an energetic passion for teaching project management and takes time to ensure students understand the material before moving forward. Ed has thousands of hours in the classroom teaching project management courses.  He is a former board member and president of the Alamo PMI Chapter and has an Executive MBA from the University of Texas San Antonio and Bachelors in Management of Information Systems from Colorado Technical University.
