Alamo PMI Chapter Elections 2026 – Nomination Period Extended!

We're excited to announce that the nomination period has been extended through July 27, 2026!

This extension provides additional time to build a strong pool of candidates and ensures a smooth transition and knowledge transfer for our incoming volunteer leaders.

📢 Alamo PMI Chapter Elections 2026: Call for Nominations! 📢

It's that time of the year again! We're excited to announce the Annual Alamo PMI Elections, and we need YOU to help shape our future.

Consider nominating a fellow chapter member in good standing or self-nominating for one of the following positions listed below.

🗓️     Accept Nomination Period: July 1, 2026 - July 17, 2026 (extended due to holiday schedule)

🗓️     Chapter members will vote for candidates following the vetting process. Eligible members will receive a secure 

         electronic voting link via email.

         ***Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

🗓️     Term Start Date: January 1, 2027

 

Open Positions:

Section 5. The VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT shall be responsible for all
administrative functions addressing the needs of the Chapter to include maintaining business records,
meeting minutes and enforcement of Chapter policies and bylaws.

Section 6. The VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE shall oversee the management of funds for duly

authorized purposes of the Alamo PMI.

Section 8. The VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT shall be

responsible for all professional development functions addressing the education needs of the Chapter

membership; also hosts training workshops and events in accordance with Chapter policies and bylaws.

Section 11. The VICE PRESIDENT OF OUTREACH shall be responsible for all outreach functions

addressing the needs of the Chapter including educational engagement, corporate and community

activities and satellite locations operations in accordance with Chapter policies and bylaws.

 

Qualifications Checklist

1. Write a 500-word statement on qualifications and interests. NOTE : Use MS Word’s word count function to verify the word count does not exceed 500 words.

2. Provide a digital headshot photograph. NOTE : Ensure a clear, professional-looking picture, as this picture will accompany the ballot.

3. Provide the following PMI details:

    a. Name

    b. Contact Phone

    c. Email

    d. PMI ID Number & PMI Membership Expiration Date

4. Submit ALL of the above-listed items by July 17th, 2026 by 5:00pm, via email to the nominating mailbox: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Join PMI Alamo Chapter for an engaging in-person session featuring Sergeant Major (Retired) Matt Quick, a leader dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, and their families in transitioning to successful civilian careers through project management.

In this powerful session, “The Mission Mindset: Applying Military Precision for Project Success,” Matt will explore how military leadership principles—such as mission planning, disciplined execution, and adaptability—translate directly into effective project management practices.

Date: April 28, 2026

Time:  6-8:00pm CST (Central Standard Time)

Speaker Bio:

Sergeant Major (Retired) Matt Quick leads PMI’s Military Community-focused efforts, helping service members, veterans, and their families become trained, certified, and job-ready.

With 25 years of combined service in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army, Matt brings extensive leadership experience. His final assignment was as the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Retention Sergeant Major, where he led recruiting and retention initiatives at scale.

Since retiring, Matt has focused on helping military professionals transition successfully through coaching, LinkedIn engagement, and professional development opportunities.
