2025 PMI NA Leadership Institute Meeting (LIM) - November 2025

Alamo PMI proudly participated in the 2025 PMI North America Leadership Institute Meeting, joining chapter leaders from across the globe to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and elevate the future of project leadership.

Key Highlights of Alamo PMI’s Participation

1. Representation & Leadership Presence
Alamo PMI leaders actively engaged throughout LIM—contributing to discussions, attending chapter workshops, and representing the Texas region with professionalism and collaboration.

2. Strengthening Chapter Strategy for 2026–2028
Insights gained at LIM will directly support Alamo PMI’s upcoming strategic initiatives, including improved member engagement, program innovation, and chapter modernization efforts.

3. Expanding the Texas Leadership Network
Our chapter connected with leaders from PMI Austin, PMI Dallas, PMI Houston, and PMI Rio Grande, reinforcing the growing statewide collaboration supporting cross-chapter events, volunteer development, and member value.

4. Best Practice Sharing for Chapter Excellence
Alamo PMI exchanged governance, marketing, and volunteer management practices that will help streamline chapter operations and enhance our 2026 program year.

5. Volunteer Leadership Development
Our participation strengthened leadership skills across the board—bringing back new tools, templates, and resources to support Board development, onboarding, and succession planning.

6. Commitment to Community Impact
Alamo PMI spotlighted our growing Texas community outreach efforts, including veteran support, women in leadership initiatives, and regional collaboration during times of need (e.g., Texas flood relief response).

7. A Renewed Vision for Member Value
The chapter left LIM energized with new ideas to enhance member experience, elevate event quality, and expand partnerships that benefit our 3,000+ members.

Volunteer of the Month for October - Kwame Kawiah

Alamo PMI is proud to recognize Kwame Tawiah as our Volunteer of the Month for October!
Kwame has been an invaluable member of our organization, serving first as Director of Finance and recently stepping into his new role as Director of Policy. Throughout his time with us, he has shown exceptional dedication and leadership.

This past month, Kwame made meaningful contributions on the Nominations Committee and played a vital role in the Kerrville Donation Event. No matter the task, Kwame is always quick to step in and offer his support, ensuring that our work continues seamlessly.
