TITLE:   Horizons, Uncertainties, and Adaptation

DATE:  October 24, 2018

OVERVIEW:

Many people think of time as one-dimensional. And most times, this thinking is linear (the past, the present, and then the future). Given this thinking, leaders and organizations become ineffective at dealing with the future. Matter of fact, they come in shock when pockets of innovation disrupt their planning and business models.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:  All Members and Guests

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:   This brief talk introduces leaders to thinking about the present as tri-dimensional, which will help them explore the future as the interaction of three horizons. Another benefit of this talk is the discovery of individual members’ time orientations, which can be appreciated as integral in selecting projects, managing projects, building creativity, and sustaining future innovation in organizations.

TALENT TRIANGE AREA:  Strategy
