TITLE:  What’s in YOUR Business Case???

DATE:  Wednesday, February 27, 2019

OVERVIEW:  Exploring and Understanding Motivators and Rationale Organizations Employ to Select Some Projects/Investments, While Passing on All the Rest

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:  All Alamo PMI members and guests

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:  Based on the success and demand for this topic to be covered, after the August 2018 Workshop for Alamo PMI, we are going to get into the minds of Senior Management.  As Project Managers, we may not always get to see what’s in the Biz Case that Senior Management evaluates and selects (or most notably, DON’T select), and why.  We sign the Charter, the birth certificate of the project, but how many of us really see what leads the company to select one Investment out of several?  This presentation will show you what’s in a strategic business case (at the Business Analyst level), explain the economics of gathering necessary data/info, objectively analyzing and intelligently organizing it, and generating an effective and efficient report, using examples and interactive challenges.
