ALAMO PMI CALL FOR NOMINATIONS 2024
Annual APMI elections IAW APMI Bylaws 21 September 2023. Please, consider nominating or nomination for the following positions: VP Finance, VP Operations and Support, VP Outreach, and VP Programs and Professional Development. Accepting nominations May 1, 2024 through June 30, 2024. Term starting 1 January 2025.
In accordance with (IAW) our APMI bylaws, every year we hold elections. The time has come, would you consider nominating a chapter member in good standing or consider self-nominating to serve on the APMI board? Below are the details. (See also “Other Notes” at the end of this announcement.)
I. POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE: Shall oversee the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of the Alamo PMI. (Article V, Section 6, APMI Bylaws)
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT: Shall be responsible for all administrative functions addressing the needs of the Chapter including maintaining business records, meeting minutes, and enforcement of Chapter policies and bylaws (Article V, Section 5, APMI Bylaws.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OUTREACH: Shall be responsible for all communication functions addressing the needs of the Chapter including marketing, public relations, and Chapter websites in accordance with Chapter policies and bylaws. (Article V, Section 11, APMI Bylaws)
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Shall be responsible for all professional development functions addressing the education needs of the Chapter membership; also hosts training workshops and events in accordance with Chapter policies and bylaws. (Article V, Section 8, APMI Bylaws)
II. NOMINATING/NOMINATION PROCEDURE
1. Write a 500-word statement describing biographical data that speaks to your qualifications and interests. NOTE: Use MS Word’s count function to verify the word count does not exceed 500 words.
2. Provide a digital headshot photograph. NOTE: Ensure a clear, professional-looking picture, as this picture will accompany the ballot, and if selected, it will be used for the chapter’s website.
3. Provide the following PMI details:

*OTHER NOTES
Note 1. The APMI Board consists of the officers of the Alamo PMI elected by the membership and shall be members in good standing of the PMI and of the Alamo PMI.
Note 2. Terms of Office IAW Bylaws and PMI Criteria:

Terms of office for the Officers shall be two (2) years

Limited to two (2) consecutive terms in the same position
-
No more than four (4) consecutive terms or eight (8) consecutive years of elected service on the Board.

Elected officers serving eight (8) consecutive years shall rotate off the Board for a period of at least two (2) years prior to seeking a future elected position.
