The Alamo Project Management Institute (PMI) Chapter, also known as Alamo PMI, was established in 1995 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. As a local chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Alamo PMI supports the professional development and growth of project management professionals in the region.

Founded in 1969 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, PMI is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the project management profession. As part of this global network, Alamo PMI connects local professionals with resources, knowledge, and a community that enhances project management excellence.
